Lab FAQ
Do you develop disposable cameras?
Yes! I treat all disposable cameras as normal 35mm color or b&w development.
How do you scan my negatives?
Standard Scans are scanned through an AGFA D-Lab.
Professional Scans are scanned through DSLR Scanning.
How do I get my film to you?
You will mail in your film. For individual rolls, USPS First-Class is usually the cheapest option. For bulk orders and ones that include disposable cameras, your cheapest option will be USPS Priority Mail. The post office provides free flat-rate boxes that are the same price regardless of weight.
Do not send your film in flat-rate cardboard envelopes, your film may be ruined by the mail carrier!
How long will it take to get my scans back?
After receiving your film, I will process it immediately. It should take up to 5 days to process. I will then either return your thumb drive with your images back to you or upload your photos through a client gallery or a Google Drive folder that will expire after 30 days.
Do you offer prints?
Yes, for an additional fee. Please inquire.
How will I get my images back?
I will send your images via a Private Gallery Link. This link will be active for 30 days. After it expires, there will be a fee to unarchive your files.
Do your prices include shipping?
No. Shipping will be calculated based on how many rolls are sent in.
We will use the cheapest shipping available (USPS First Class), unless otherwise requested.
Do you return negatives?
You can choose whether or not to have your negatives returned at checkout. Return shipping is a flat fee of $5.00, regardless of number of rolls, paid at checkout.
All film can be returned either cut and sleeved in strips of 5 frames or uncut and rolled into a film canister.
What if I don't like my scans?
I take pride in ensuring all of my work is consistent. I will make sure to let you know if I notice an issue with your film as I am scanning it.
A common issue with undesirable results stem from overexposed, underexposed, or expired film. I do my best to mitigate the issues that arise from these hurdles. If you are not satisfied with my work, I can refer you to another lab.
